Katfish please accept my sincere apology, I am only trying to seek clarity about the stuff you write about here. So please help me to understand, first Shannon explains he has to get another job because the freight broker business is very slow, then you post a comment here acknowledging that fact and add that you hope business picks-up soon so Shannon can return to your company, then yesterday you comment about how busy you are but you wish each phone call was as profitable now as it used to be and you blame Obama for the decreased profits, I try to explain it really is not about Obama it is because of a shrinking global economy that your business is not experiencing the same amount of profit per order as you were used to, that because there are too many carriers chasing less freight that means the brokers are being squeezed out and must expect less revenue per order and then you do a complete turn around and claim your business is doing great and you have had the best two months ever.
So now I am just trying to understand your confusing jibberish, you are moving more freight orders now but making less per order as I stated?? Or business is doing really great and Shannon will soon be able to return because revenue per order is up and profits are going through the roof?
And if business is doing great and profits are soaring then does Obama get the credit for that or is the increase in profits some sort of a negative thing that Obama has done to your company??
Just trying to set the record straight so I am not so confused about what you write here, please be gentle with me, remember I’m just a dumb Yankee. Now I may be wrong on this one also but wasn’t it those Republicans not long ago who were trying to get the Mexican truckers to drive not just into the USA with freight from Mexico but to also allow them to deliver domestic freight between locations in the USA? And wasn’t it the Teamsters and other unions who fought the Republicans on this issue and I think the idea did not go through??
Now that would of really increased the profits in the freight broker business, and then you would have freight brokers setting up shop inside roach coach taco stands along the road, man that would be wild.
